The SBFC Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude to our wonderful supporters and partners for their dedication to the social-emotional wellness of our South Bay youth. Donations to the SBFC not-for-profit support SBFC's parent education events, teen workshops, the event calendar, social media outreach, the monthly SBFC e-newsletter, The Virtual Teen Center, SBFC teen and parent blog production, the South Bay Opioid Awareness Project, and the content produced for the website. Supporters ensure that our in-person and online education programs and support services are accessible to all families in the South Bay, free of charge. Created and Made Possible by…
LSM Communications, LLC (LSM), produced the Families Connected concept in February of 2015 and privately funded and launched the Families Connected website and South Bay Families Connected (SBFC) logo and youth wellness brand in August 2015. The SBFC non-profit and Board was created in November 2017 by a dedicated group of South Bay volunteers. LSM continued to subsidize SBFC through December 2019, producing its videos, events, quality assurance and on-line response pro-bono. LSM president, Laura Short McIntire, continues to serve as the volunteer Program Director of SBFC. All current programming is made possible through SBFC’s contracts and the generous donations from its supporters.
