Format:
Following a brief group check-in, Dr. Moe Gelbart will present evidence-based advice for parents and caregivers during the first ten to fifteen minutes of The Chat. The topics of his presentation will change throughout the school-year, and Parent Chat participants are encouraged to suggest topics for future meetings.
For the remainder of the time, participants may join a group discussion and share challenges and insight in a confidential and non-judgmental space, or may opt to just listen to the discussion to gain insight.
Related community resources will also be shared by Laura Short McIntire, founder of the Families Connected project.
