Parenting for Trauma and Dysregulation

Attendees of this free virtual event will gain an understanding of the concept of attachment, including what is a secure attachment and what is an insecure attachment and how they manifest behaviorally. Particular insight will be shared about a child's internal world and how that shows up in a relationship. The presenter will also give practical skills to support secure attachments and how doing this will help resolve conflicts. Participants will also learn about themselves, what kind of attachments they have, and how this may play out in our own relationships. Q and A time is built in, and all are welcome to participate in this very relaxed and supportive environment.
