About the workshop and Kathleen Terry, MA
It’s Sunday night… And once again you have waited until the last minute to start, and try to finish, a big project for class that’s due tomorrow morning.
If situations such as this one – cramming for tests at the eleventh hour, always saying you will do something “later,” sound familiar, you may be dealing with procrastination.
Procrastination often causes stress and negative feelings. Join us in a supportive environment with other teens to explore this issue.
During this 1.5 hour discussion and mini workshop, we will discuss:
· The reasons why you procrastinate
· Why procrastination can be beneficial
· 5 strategies to move forward
The workshop will be facilitated by Kathleen Terry the founder of Participative Management Systems and a SBFC board member . Kathleen has presented programs both nationally and internationally on personal motivation for success and team building. In addition to doing seminars and public speaking, she also facilitates three community leadership programs, including the Manhattan Beach Youth Council.
